FIL: Ang pangunahing tauhan sa isang kuwento, dula, o pelikula, na karaniwang siyang bayani.
EN: protagonist, hero, main character
The main character energy. In a teleserye, they're the one who gets slapped, cries in the rain, but eventually gets the guy and the inheritance. In real life, it's you, thinking you're the main character while stuck in EDSA traffic.
From Spanish 'vida' meaning 'life', but usage shifted in Filipino to mean the 'life' of the story.
Can also be used to refer to someone who is the center of attention in a positive way.
