Originally a witch from folklore, but now it's what you call the evil kontrabida in a teleserye, your terrifyingly strict manager, or the chismosa neighbor who seems to have a curse for every occasion. It can be a serious insult ("Ang sama ng ugali mo, para kang bruha!") or a playful jab among friends ("Hoy bruha, nasaan ka na?").
