A not-so-nice slang term for an old person. It's what your rebellious teenage self might have muttered about your parents or any authority figure who just 'doesn't get it.' 'Ano ba 'yan, ang gurang na ng sound trip mo!' Use with caution, it can be offensive.
From Bikol Central 'gurang' (old, mature).
Often considered derogatory or disrespectful. 'Matanda' is the neutral and polite term. Can also be used as a noun to refer to an old person.
