This is the opposite of "plastic" or "napipilitan lang." When you apologize and you really, really mean it, you say "itaos-puso kong hinihingi ang iyong tawad." It’s doing something with your whole chest, whether it’s a prayer, a promise, or a thank you. No half-assing allowed.
