The OG term for "cringey" or "baduy" before "cringey" was even a thing. Think of fashion choices that missed the mark by a mile, like wearing socks with sandals unironically or having a hairstyle straight out of a 90s B-movie. It's the aesthetic equivalent of putting ketchup on your spaghetti when everyone else is using sweet-style sauce.
Can be considered offensive. Its usage has declined in favor of newer terms like "jeje" or "cringe," but is still understood by most Filipinos.
🇵🇭 Huwag mo nang suotin 'yan, mukha kang jologs.
🇺🇸 Don't wear that anymore, you look tacky.
🇺🇸 Before, people who listened to OPM were considered uncool, but now it's awesome.
