FIL: Isang salitang nagpapahayag ng matinding pag-asam o pagnanais na magkatotoo ang isang bagay. Katumbas ng "sana."
EN: hopefully; may it be so
The ultimate, most poetic, Balagtas-level "sana all." It's what you whisper to the universe when you're wishing for something huge, like winning the lottery or your crush finally noticing you. It’s "sana" with a college degree and a flair for the dramatic.
From `kahiman` (even if) + `mawari` (to be able to perceive/realize). Literally "may it be perceived/realized."
A very formal and literary word. Almost exclusively used in prayers, poems, or solemn wishes. `Sana` is the universal equivalent.
