Not to be confused with "kalokohan" (foolishness), although you might do some crazy fun things there! This is the land of Vigan's empanada, Pagudpud's windmills, and the legendary thriftiness (and delicious food) of the Ilocano people. It's where the bagnet is crispy and the scenery is epic.
A variant form of "Ilocos," using the circumfix `ka-...-an` to denote a place or region.
Often used interchangeably with "Ilocos Region." The spelling is distinct from Caloocan City.
