/ku-LE-lat/
FIL: Ang tao o pangkat na nasa pinakahuling puwesto sa isang kompetisyon, paligsahan, o anumang uri ng pagraranggo.
EN: last place; tail-ender
Being 'kulelat' is the ultimate 'sana all' but in reverse. It's being the last one to cross the finish line, the team at the bottom of the UAAP standings, or the last one to get the joke. It’s a term of pity, sometimes playful teasing, for the one who came in last. Nobody wants to be the kulelat, but hey, at least you finished, right? ...Right?
Can also function as an adjective (e.g., 'siya ay kulelat'). It has a slightly negative and informal connotation.

🇺🇸 Unfortunately, our group was the tail-ender in the competition.
🇵🇭 Ayokong maging kulelat sa klase kaya nag-aaral ako nang mabuti.
🇺🇸 I don't want to be in last place in class, so I study hard.
