This is the adulting version of 'to fit in'. It’s moving to a new city and learning the commute, starting a new job and learning the office politics, or trying to fit all your stuff into a tiny condo unit. 'Mag-agpang' is the skill of making things work, of adjusting yourself or the situation until it clicks. It's the opposite of forcing a square peg into a round hole.
