/mag-ka-ham-BING/
FIL: Ang pagkakaroon ng pagkakatulad o pagiging halos magkapareho sa katangian, anyo, o kalidad.
EN: to be comparable; to be similar
When you can put two things side-by-side and they're basically the same, they are "magkahambing." Think of two K-drama male leads with the same haircut, or two milk tea shops with identical menus. It's the basis for the classic Filipino parent move: "Bakit si [pinsan's name], mataas ang grades? Hindi ba kayo magkahambing?" (Spoiler: you're not).
From `magka-` + `hambing` (comparison).
Often used with "halos" (almost) to mean "almost identical." The prefix `magka-` implies a reciprocal or shared quality.
