FIL: Ang paglalakad o paggala nang walang tiyak na direksyon o layunin; ang pagiging layas o palaboy.
EN: to wander; to roam; to stray
This is what you do when you're 'walang magawa' (have nothing to do) and just want to walk around the mall ('mag-mall'). It's the verb for aimless wandering. It's what your parents accuse you of doing when you come home late: 'Saan ka na naman naglaboy?!' (Where have you been wandering off to again?!). Also applies to stray dogs and cats (mga asong/pusang laboy).
Often has a slightly negative connotation of being aimless or truant, but can also mean to wander in a more neutral sense.
