EN: to suffice
The opposite of 'kulang' (lacking). When your sweldo finally lasts until the next payday, it means your salary was able to **magsapat**. Or when you bring just enough baon for a picnic and everyone gets to eat. It's the feeling of 'just right.' Not too much, not too little.
Often used in the negative form 'hindi magsapat' (to not be enough). It is an intransitive verb.
🇺🇸 I hope two thousand pesos will be enough for our expenses for one week.
🇺🇸 My patience will not suffice if you do that again.
