The classic Filipino mall-goer's request. You see a nice shirt, you don't just look, you ask the saleslady, "Pahipo nga po." It's our way of quality checking, feeling the texture ('tela'). It's a request, not a demand, to engage the sense of touch. Be careful with the context though, or you might get a slap instead of a shirt!
