EN: a Filipino noodle dish
The noodle dish that looks like a party on a plate. It's got that bright orange sauce, topped with everything but the kitchen sink: crushed chicharon, shrimp, hard-boiled egg, smoked fish flakes... It's the "extra" cousin in the pansit family. Not to be confused with its simpler relative, Pansit Luglog.
Possibly from a Chinese Hokkien dialect, related to adding flavor or garnish.
A popular dish for celebrations like birthdays and fiestas.
