EN: to make something turn; to bend something
This is the command form. It's what you tell someone to do. (Boss, should I turn the car at the corner now?). It can also mean to bend something that was straight.
From 'pa-' (causative prefix) + 'liko' (turn, curve) + '-in' (object focus suffix).
Similar to 'palihisin' but 'palikuin' is more physical (turning a car, bending a wire) while 'palihisin' is often more abstract (changing a topic).
🇺🇸 It's hard to bend a hard piece of steel using only your hands.
🇺🇸 Turn the car at the next corner.
