The final resting place. The OG subdivision for those who have passed on. It's where you visit your ancestors during Undas, light some candles, and maybe have a mini-reunion with relatives you only see once a year. Medyo creepy sa gabi, pero during the day, it's surprisingly peaceful.
From Spanish `pavimento` (pavement) or `monumento` (monument), which evolved into a local term for a tomb, then `pamentuhan` as a place of tombs.
A more formal or slightly dated term for "sementeryo."
