FIL: Isang parirala na tumutukoy sa pinto mismo kasama ang balangkas o kuwadro nito na tinatawag na baskagan.
EN: door and/or doorframe
This is some old-school construction lingo, like something your Lolo na karpintero would say. It's the complete door package deal: not just the part that swings, but also the frame it's attached to. The whole shebang.
Combination of 'pinto' (door) and 'baskagan' (doorframe). 'Baskagan' is less common now, with 'hamba' being more frequently used.
This is a rare, almost archaic phrase. 'Hamba' is the more common term for doorframe today.
