FIL: Isang malapad na tabla, karaniwang kulay itim o berde, na sinusulatan gamit ang tisa o 'chalk'.
EN: blackboard; chalkboard
The OG PowerPoint. This is the blackboard your teacher used to write on with chalk (tisa) back in elementary. The sound of chalk screeching on the 'pisara' is a core memory for many Pinoys, along with the duty of being the 'blackboard eraser' for the day. Now mostly replaced by whiteboards, but the nostalgia is real.
From Spanish "pizarra" (slate, blackboard).
Refers specifically to a chalkboard, though sometimes used colloquially for whiteboards too.
