FIL: Isang tambilang na katumbas ng isang libong milyon (1,000,000,000).
EN: one billion
This is the OG "billion." Before we all just started saying "isang bilyon," this was the formal way to say it. It's a compound of 'san' (isa, one), 'libo' (thousand), and 'angaw' (million). So literally "one thousand million." You'd use this if you were writing a very formal document or maybe trying to sound super smart, like explaining the national debt.
From `isa` (one) + `-ng` + `libo` (thousand) + `-ng` + `angaw` (million).
This is a formal and somewhat archaic term. "Isang bilyon" is far more common in modern usage.
