FIL: Sa lahat ng oras o pagkakataon; palagi; walang palya.
EN: always, every time
This is the more formal, slightly more poetic cousin of 'palagi'. You'd use it in a love song lyric ('Ikaw ang iibigin ko tuwina') or when you're trying to sound deep. It’s the 'forever and ever' of adverbs. It's the promise your internet provider makes about their connection speed, but rarely delivers.
Contraction of 'tuwing' + 'na'.
Interchangeable with 'palagi' but carries a slightly more formal or literary tone. Can also be seen as 'tuwi-tuwina' for emphasis.
🇵🇭 Tuwina'y naaalala kita sa paglubog ng araw.
🇺🇸 I always remember you at sunset.
🇵🇭 Ang pag-ibig ng ina ay naririyan tuwina para sa kanyang anak.
🇺🇸 A mother's love is always there for her child.
